Zach Tinker Joins the Cast of FIRE COUNTRY!
Talk about busy! After appearing on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS to reprise his role of Fen while also playing Sonny on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Zach Tinker is now adding a primetime series to his resume as he joins the cast of FIRE COUNTRY!
The CBS primetime drama centers around young convict Bode Donovan, played by Max Thieriot, who seeks redemption by joining a firefighting program that brings him back to his Northern California hometown where he and other inmates work alongside skilled firefighters to battle blazes in the region.
Deadline is reporting that Tinker will be playing Collin, a “humble, charming, and talented probie firefighter.” He’s also the son of a heroic firefighter, so he is under a lot of pressure to measure up to his father. FIRE COUNTRY normally airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET, but Tinker will make his debut in a special episode that will air on Sunday, Jan. 29, directly after the AFC Championship game.
Tinker has appeared in numerous primetime series during his career, including NCIS, YOU’RE THE WORST, AMERICAN HORROR STORY, STATION 19, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, WHY WOMEN KILL, and BIG SKY. His most recent moonlighting was in an episode of CSI: VEGAS that aired on Jan. 5.
There have been no reports as to how Tinker joining the cast of FIRE COUNTRY will impact his role as Sonny on DAYS, but hopefully, the actor will be able to balance the two jobs at the same time.
