Bryan Craig’s Movie American Fighter Is Finally Out!
It took a few years, but fans can finally see GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan) in the powerful new movie American Fighter! “It’s out!” the actor announced on Instagram. “American Fighter is now out in theaters and everywhere you rent movies thanks to Lionsgate. Watch it on iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, or Fandango!”
Shot back in 2017, American Fighter tells the story of a young wrestler who competes in underground fighting tournaments to raise money for his sick mother. George Kosturos stars as Ali, and Craig plays his friend, Ryan, who introduces him to the dangerous world of underground fighting. The cast also features Tommy Flanagan and Sean Patrick Flanery. Craig’s character also gets into the ring for some vicious brawls, as you can see from this clip the actor shared…
American Fighter finally premiered on May 21, 2021, in limited theatrical release and on streaming rental platforms, and on May 25 Lionsgate also released it on DVD and Blu-ray for purchase or rental.”Thank you, Lionsgate!” Craig cheered, happy that people would finally be able to see the film on which he worked so hard.
When GH killed off the popular character of Morgan Corinthos, no body was ever found, so fans have constantly been wishing that Craig would return to the soap but he’s been keeping pretty busy in film and television! After leaving daytime in 2016, Craig landed a role on the short-lived CW war drama VALOR before starring in primetime soap GRAND HOTEL as Javi Mendoza. He also appeared in the films The Ride as well as the more recent Women Is Losers.
Craig has indicated his desire to return to work on GH as well as any of the other daytime soaps, so it’s not completely out of the realm of possibility that we’ll see the Daytime Emmy winner back in Port Charles one day!
