General Hospital Spoilers 5/22/24: Mourning Gregory

Keep your tissues handy for today’s General Hospital. As Gregory’s family mourns his passing, Lois has news for Ned, Diane supports Alexis, Kristina has a question, Dex is ready to fight back, and Sonny continues to clash with Dante!

Brook Lynn and Chase were about to leave for their honeymoon in Italy when Finn called his brother with the news that their father had passed away in his sleep. Postponing their getaway, the newlyweds return home where Brook Lynn is there to offer her husband a shoulder to lean on during this difficult time. “You ready for this?” she asks him, stroking his face tenderly.

As Ned looks at his tablet in the Quartermaine living room, Lois interrupts with an announcement. “I spoke to Monica, and she is all for it,” she declares. What is Lois up to now?

Violet went to school not knowing that her grandfather had died and when she comes home, Finn has to break the sad news to his little girl. “I didn’t get to say goodbye,” she cries.

GH Dex Michael — Will Dex’s assault be a turning point for Sonny?ABC

Up in Albany, Alexis is a bundle of nerves as she waits for her reinstatement hearing to begin. But Diane has her back. “Take a deep breath,” she informs Alexis. “Because you don’t need luck.”

Kristina is still reeling after seeing Sonny’s violent outburst and on the phone, she asks someone: “How soon can you be here?” Is that Dante following through on his promise to check in on her?

In Rice Park, Dex seems determined to press charges against Sonny for the violent assault. “We are never gonna get a better chance to stop him than now!” he insists. But will Michael agree that’s the best course of action?

As a police officer, Dante was upset when his father came to him for help and didn’t believe for a second that Sonny was the victim and only punched Dex in self-defense. “What are you accusing me of?” Sonny wonders.
