Who Is Haven on GENERAL HOSPITAL?
Yes, that’s Morgan Fairchild on GENERAL HOSPITAL playing Haven de Havilland! The veteran actress first debuted on the ABC soap back in July 2022 and has returned for more appearances in May 2023 and November 2023. Although perhaps best known for her work on primetime sudsers like DALLAS, FLAMINGO ROAD, and FALCON CREST, Fairchild actually got her big break in daytime playing Jennifer Pace on SEARCH FOR TOMORROW in the ‘70s and in 1995, starred as Sydney Chase on THE CITY. She also received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for her work as Anjelica Deveraux on DAYS OF OUR LIVES in 2017.
Haven de Havilland is the host of “A Little Bit of Haven,” a show on the Home and Heart shopping channel. In July 2022, Lucy Coe and Maxie Jones brought Sasha Gilmore as the Face of Deception to help sell Deception’s products on Haven’s show not realizing that the host was planning on sabotaging her guest for ratings. When Flora Gardens, the other guest, brought out her new product, a baby papoose, she asked Sasha to model it for her. But adding a baby doll to the papoose caused Sasha to hallucinate holding the baby she had lost.
After Sasha’s husband, Brando Corbin, came to her rescue, Floria was apologetic, but Haven chastised Sasha for being unprofessional. Selina Wu arrived on set and announcing herself as a major investor in Deception, forced Haven to apologize for the incident to avoid bad publicity.
In May 2023, Haven was upset that Sasha was coming back on her show to demonstrate Deception’s newest product, The Deceptor. But really, she was conspiring with her producer to sabotage her again to goose the ratings by piping the sound of a baby crying into Sasha’s earpiece during the demonstration. This time, Cody Bell came to the rescue by confronting the producer and threatening to streak naked across the set if he didn’t turn it off. Sasha made it through the presentation and afterward, when she learned the truth, blasted Haven for her scheme.
Later that year, Lucy and Maxie brought Sasha and Cody back to Home & Heart, along with their lawyer, Scott Baldwin, to make sure there was no funny business. Haven assured them that it was all the fault of the previous producer, who had been fired. When Maxie declared that Cody would join Sasha as the male Face of Deception, Haven refused, given his previous threat to streak on her show. But Maxie reminded her that The Deceptor is one of their biggest sellers, and after the segment was wildly successful, Haven begrudgingly admitted the audience loved Sasha and Cody and couldn’t wait to have them back on the show.
In April 2024, Lucy and Maxie arrived for another segment and Haven was disappointed to hear Sasha was no longer the Face of Deception but was looking forward to meeting Blaze. Lucy revealed she was going to be doing the segment herself and Haven tried to put the kibosh on that. Lucy argued her case and Haven relented, but on air, Lucy talked more about herself than the products and Haven couldn’t get her back on track. Scott tried to help, but Lucy still only kept on about the Nurses Ball. Finally, Sasha showed up and took over as Scott dragged Lucy off-camera. A relieved Haven thanked Sasha and hoped she would be back.
Stay tuned to see if Haven shows up again!
