Kelly Thiebaud Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL

The Britch is back! Kelly Thiebaud is returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL as the devious doctor Britt Westbourne! “I guess the secret’s out!” she tweeted after the news broke. Thiebaud joined the cast of GH back in 2012, and after scheming her way around Port Charles, departed in 2014 with her father, Cesar Faison. The actress has made a handful of appearances in the years since, the most recent being in the fall of 2018 when Anna tried to use Britt to capture her mother, Liesl Obrecht, and bring her to justice.

Britt was very close friends with Brad Cooper, so perhaps she’ll be offering him some advice now that the baby switch has blown up in his face? She did eventually wind up in jail, but Britt knows how to wriggle out of a scheme once it backfires! She’s also Peter August‘s half-sister, so it’s also possible that Britt could be returning as part of his past crimes being exposed. The possibilities are endless!

Since leaving GH, Thiebaud appeared in movies like Every 21 Seconds, The Sinister Surrogate, and A Mother on the Edge. Most recently, the actress could be seen playing Eva Vasquez on the ABC primetime drama STATION 19.

While the length of Thiebaud’s stint on GH has not been revealed, she is reportedly already back at the studio filming. So even though the soap hasn’t announced an air date for her first episode back, since they shoot about a month ahead, you should expect to see Britt airing at the end of March or beginning of April.
