Kirsten Storms Opens up About Her Emotional Return to GENERAL HOSPITAL
Soap fans may be excited that the casts and crews are going back to work to produce brand-new episodes of their favorite shows, but the stars are just as excited! Kirsten Storms (Maxie) shared a selfie from her dressing room at the GENERAL HOSPITAL studio and shared her camera-ready look as well as her feelings about finally going back. “Rocking that GH hair and makeup like whaaat?!” she posted. “Couldn’t have been more thrilled to return to work yesterday.
“Did I cry as I walked down the hallway of the GH dressing room area?” Storms continued. “Yes, I did. No shame. Really missed my work family these last few months and I feel truly thankful to be back at it with them. In an extremely safe environment — Shout out to ABC for taking care of us so thoroughly.”
Like all the other daytime dramas, GH suspended production back in March due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the cast and crew have been sheltering at home for their own protection. THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL returned to work in June and began airing all-new episodes on July 20. As B&B’s new episodes began airing, GH was headed back to its own studio, and currently is planning to return with brand new episodes on Monday, Aug. 3. So stay tuned to see what happens next!
