Don’t miss a very special tribute to the late daytime actress Ellen Holly in honor of Black History Month. It will be held in The Locher Room on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m. ET.

Holly was one of the first black actors to play a lead character on a soap with her groundbreaking role of Carla Gray on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. She sadly passed away on Dec. 5, 2023, at the age of 92. Joining host Alan Locher for this special tribute to an actress who broke barriers will be Mariann Alda (Didi, THE EDGE OF NIGHT), Jonelle Allen (Doreen, GENERATIONS), Iona Morris (Fiona, AS THE WORLD TURNS), Phil Morris (ex-Tyrone, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), and James Reynolds (Abe, DAYS OF OUR LIVES).

Join this group of actors as they discuss how Holly’s role as Carla on OLTL paved the way for black actors to move from the background to front-burner storylines on daytime dramas. It promises to be a fascinating conversation!

And don’t forget to check out The Locher Room’s YouTube channel to see all the other fun live chats with soap stars you might have missed! The YouTube shows are also available as audio podcasts and can be found wherever you listen to podcasts on Amazon, Apple, Google, iHeartRadio, Spotify, and Spreaker.
