OLTL Alum Kamar de los Reyes Joins the Cast of ALL AMERICAN!
Please join us in congratulating ONE LIFE TO LIVE alum Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio) on his new recurring role on ALL AMERICAN! “I”m so proud to be a part of the ALL AMERICAN family!” he enthused on Instagram when the news broke. The actor made his debut in the March 14 episode of the CW primetime series and The Wrap is reporting he’s slated to appear in four more episodes throughout the rest of the fourth season.
De los Reyes is playing Coach Mr. Montes, who is called that nickname by the students to distinguish him from his wife, the Coach Montes who worked with them at Beverly Hills High. Coach Mr. Montes is said to be smart, confident, and unpredictable, and develops a unique relationship with Asher that ends up challenging them both.
Soap fans know de los Reyes for his role of OLTL’s Antonio Vega, the character he played from 1995 until 2009. After leaving daytime, the actor found success in primetime series like BLUE BLOODS, SLEEPY HOLLOW, and THE ROOKIE.
“Go baby, go!” cheered wife — and former OLTL co-star — Sherri Saum (Keri). Many of de los Reyes’ other former Llanview neighbors congratulated him on the new gig like Brittany Underwood (Langston), David Fumero (Cristian), and Sean Ringgold (Shaun).
