B&B Alums Joe LoCicero and Gina Rodriguez Welcome a Baby Boy!
Please join us in congratulating THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL alums Gina Rodriguez (ex-Beverly) and Joe LoCicero (ex-Vinny) on the birth of their first child! The actress’ agent confirmed the news to People that the couple is now the proud parents of a baby boy.
Rodriguez and LoCicero first met on the set of her CW series JANE THE VIRGIN back in 2016 and were married on May 4, 2019. They shared the happy news that they were expecting their first child together back on July 30, 2022, which was also her 38th birthday. “This birthday hits different,” she admitted at the time.
Shortly after her announcement, Rodriguez told People she was looking forward to being a mom. “I’m very excited and overwhelmed and feel like a superwoman,” she confided. “I feel like every day is bizarre and different, and I have so much appreciation for every human being that has brought a child onto this planet. Anytime I see somebody with a child, I’m like, ‘Congratulations, you’re a superhero.’”
Early in her career, Rodriguez joined the cast of B&B in late 2011 for a short run as Beverly, a homeless teen that Stephanie befriended and later hired as an intern at Forrester Creations. Her hubby was cast on the soap as the dangerous drug dealer Vinny Walker in June 2019 and appeared on and off for the next couple of years until the character was killed off in April 2021.
Unfortunately, no additional details about Baby Boy LoCicero were shared by the proud parents, so we’re just going to have to wait a little while longer for them to tell us his name and share the first beautiful photos of the new addition to their family.
