B&B’s Diamond White Claps Back at Her Internet Haters

For many celebrities and other figures in the public eye, the internet can be a hurtful place. While there are many fans who will praise a person’s work, there are also many haters who will hide behind the anonymity of a keyboard and criticize everything from the person’s performance to their physical appearance. Unfortunately, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Diamond White (Paris) found herself to be the target of some haters recently, as she read multiple rude remarks on social media that were criticizing her body and her appearance.

Addressing the negativity in dual posts on Twitter and Instagram, White clapped back at critics who had something to say about how often she changes her hairstyle and her fluctuating weight. “I see a lot of comments now about my weight. Before, the conversation was about my hair,” the B&B actress wrote on Twitter.  “Let’s break it down. I’m happy. I’m more active now, so I’m slimmer. If I feel bored, I change my hair!”

White shared a photo of herself at 18, saying that she wished she knew then what she knows now. Instagram

White had more to say on the matter over on Instagram, where she posted a glamourous photo from several years ago and shared a message to her younger self. “This photo is from when I was around 18,” wrote the former X FACTOR contestant. “I’m 23 now. I’m posting this photo because when I was 18, I didn’t know that beauty and happiness are not the same.”

Both of White’s posts were met with positive support from her colleagues and fans. “You don’t have to explain a damn thing. You’re beautiful and it’s your decision what you want to do,” wrote one commenter on Instagram, while co-star Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) replied to White’s post with three flame emojis. On Twitter, one supporter took White’s post as an opportunity to “remind people that they have no right to talk about your body or any other body that isn’t theirs. They shouldn’t, they can’t, and they must stop.”

Hopefully, White doesn’t let the negativity bring her down for too long, because the actress has big plans this weekend. White will be appearing at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture in New Orleans from June 30 through July 2, promoting her role in the upcoming Disney+ animated series, MARVEL’s MOON GIRL AND DEVIL DINOSAUR!
