B&B’s Krista Allen Explains the Heartbreaking Reason Behind Her Absence

Tags:

If there is one thing that soap fans love as much as watching their favorite actors or actresses on the screen, it’s when they get to interact with those very same actors and actresses on social media. THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Krista Allen (Taylor) is one of those daytime stars who has built a rapport with her fans on Twitter — so when the beloved actress seemed to not be posting much on the social media platform lately, her followers took notice.

In fact, Allen hadn’t tweeted anything at all since March 16. She didn’t want to worry her faithful fans to worry, however, so she carved out some time on March 27 to explain where she’s been and why she hasn’t been around as much on Twitter.

“Just wanted to say hi!” the B&B star began her post. “I miss y’all and haven’t checked my tweets in many weeks. I will soon.”

The reason for her absence, Allen went on to share, was actually rather heartbreaking. “Had a personal tragedy and been dealing with that,” she confessed. “Trying to get back to normal now.”

Proving that despite the misfortune, she still has her sense of humor intact, Allen joked, “Well, ‘normal’ for me,” adding that her life is “never actually normal!”

Concluding her post, Allen wrote to her followers, “Love you, and sending belly laughs and smiles.”

Allen didn’t go into further details about the situation that has understandably been occupying her time and attention the past two weeks, but her fans were quick to jump in with messages of support. “I am so sorry to read this,” wrote one follower. “My deepest condolences during this difficult time. Know that we all love you and hope you can find some kind of normal soon.”

Several posters commented that Allen should take whatever amount of time she needs to work through this change in her life. “You’ve been missed,” replied one, “but take the time you need for you. We’ll be here for you when you’re ready to come back.”
