Wedding planning is in the future for THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Matthew Atkinson (Thomas) and his longtime girlfriend, Brytnee Ratledge! The gorgeous duo has announced that they are engaged to be married!

The happy couple shared their wonderful news in a joint Instagram post on June 9, posting two photos where Ratledge’s beautiful engagement ring is prominently displayed. The sun casts a lovely golden glow over the couple in both photos and off in the distance behind them is a cross monument stationed in the ground. In the first image, Ratledge has her arms around Atkinson’s shoulders, and in the second snapshot, the B&B star and his bride-to-be are sharing a sweet kiss. “Living, breathing proof of God’s faithfulness,” Atkinson captioned the post.

The comments section of Atkinson and Ratledge’s post filled up with well-wishes from his daytime co-stars. “Biggest congratulations, guys!” cheered Tanner Novlan (Finn). Added Courtney Hope (now playing Sally on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), “Yahhhhhh congrats!”

Ratledge’s siblings also shared their excitement over their sister’s engagement to the actor. “I’m still crying!!!!” shared one of her sisters, Bry, to which sister Milia replied, “You and me both!”

Like Atkinson, Ratledge is also an actor, who has starred in movies like the Lifetime thrillers Stalked By My Ex and The Au Pair Nightmare. She recently appeared on an episode of THE GOLDBERGS and in the Tubi original movie Frankie Meets Jack (which was one of the late Anne Heche’s final films).

The couple recently traveled to Italy along with several of Atkinson’s B&B colleagues for a remote shoot. Footage from the episodes filmed around Rome will air between Thursday, June 16, and Monday, June 26.

Please join us in wishing Atkinson and Ratledge a wonderful life together!
