Courtney Hope Says Goodbye to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL
Sally is leaving THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. “An abrupt ending to a monumental journey,” Courtney Hope wrote on Instagram. “The last three years have been amazing, and though I do not know what the future holds, this chapter of Sally has sadly come to an end.”
Hope first joined the cast of B&B in January 2017 as Sally Spectra, the great-niece of the legendary Sally Spectra, played by the late Darlene Conley. The character was written out in March of 2018, though Hope soon returned just a few months later to continue telling Sally’s tale. There are no details yet as to when Hope’s last air date will be.
“I love my B&B cast and crew and will miss everyone dearly, but await the day we may all play again. Some things are out of our control, and I thank the fans for your support through it all! Until then, I revel in new beginnings and everything the future has in store. Love you all. Sally Spectra out.”
Fans feared the worst when Sally was diagnosed with a fatal illness, but that was later revealed to be a lie so she could win Wyatt back. In the August 3 episode, Wyatt told Sally she should go away for a while, but will that really be the last viewers see of her? And might she come back yet again? Stay tuned to find out!
