Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger Star in a New Movie Together!

Real-life marrieds Kelly Kruger and Darin Brooks are going to be starring together in an upcoming Christmas movie! The couple, who celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in March, just a month after welcoming their second child, daughter Gemma, will be working together again, although Kruger didn’t reveal the name of the flick in her announcement.

“So we all know I’m getting ready to do my first movie since becoming a mom,” the actress said in a selfie video she took in her car with her hubby driving and the kids in the back. “And in the film, my co-star has to be funny, talented, handsome, and I thought to myself, who do I know that could be a good fit for this?”

Kruger then pans the camera over to the driver’s seat where Brooks jokes: “You call my brother.” She laughs and happily announces: “Darin and I are going to be in the movie together! It’s the first time playing love interests since BLUE MOUNTAIN STATE, which is the show that we met on. We’re so excited. I cannot wait to start filming… can’t wait for you guys to see it. So stay tuned!”

Fans know that Brooks starred as Alex Moran in the comedy series BLUE MOUNTAIN STATE, where Kruger played the character of Julia King for a couple of episodes. Kruger, who soap fans know from her role as Mackenzie Browning on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, has also played Forrester publicist Eva on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, where her hubby stars as Wyatt Spencer. Although there, their characters may have shared scenes, but as she mentioned in the video, they weren’t love interests!
