Django Ferri Is the New Douglas on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL

Kids grow up so fast on soaps… or in some cases, might stay the same age but end up looking a little different! So don’t be confused when you see a new Douglas on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL — the role is now being played by daytime newcomer Django Ferri, who will first be seen on Thursday, Aug. 11.
The role of Thomas and Caroline’s son was most recently played by Henry Joseph Samiri, who took over back in 2019. But the talented young performer has been kept pretty busy with roles on shows like 9-1-1: LONE STAR, AMERICAN HORROR STORY, HACKS, and the upcoming THE WATCHFUL EYE. While the recent recast of Steffy’s daughter, Kelly, was only temporary, Ferri will be permanently replacing Samiri.

Ferri is a client of MPM Models and Talent, but he doesn’t have an IMDb page as yet, which would seem to indicate that B&B is his first real role. Well, that’s how some of the greats got started in the past!
Douglas Forrester hasn’t really had much to do on B&B since January, when he was the one who spotted his grandma, Brooke, kissing “Santa,” who turned out to be Deacon! Though the little boy has been mentioned as recently as June, he hasn’t been seen on camera. But with the Forrester family celebrating Steffy’s reunion with Finn now that he’s not dead, Douglas could perhaps be part of that celebration. Or maybe some new drama that his father, Thomas, finds himself mixed up in?
You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!
