Just a month after he turned eight, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Henry Joseph Samiri (Douglas) was jetting off for a new gig! The talented young performer shared a pic of him giving a thumbs up with one hand while holding a Slinky in the other as he listened to music over headphones in his seat on the plane. “I’m headed somewhere fun for work,” he teased. “Stay tuned to see where my travels take me.”

At the end of that week, Samiri added a few more clues. “I’m where the weather is beautiful, the sky is clear, and the cicadas are loud!” he posted. Following it up with another photo the following day of his view from the hotel. “Is it an ocean or a lake? Are we looking east or west?”

Finally, a picture of himself on a miniature golf course revealed where he was working. “Whoever said Chicago was right!” Samiri announced. “I can’t wait to share what I’m working on. So thankful to my amazing team at Coast to Coast Talent and the wonderful Robin Weinstein Loehr for being the best manager I could have ever asked for. Thank you!”

Finally, it was also revealed what project Samiri had traveled to Chicago to shoot! Deadline is reporting he will be part of the cast of a currently untitled television pilot for Freeform from Julie Durk, the executive producer of GRACE AND FRANKIE. Known as THE NANNY while in development, the drama series is a Hitchcockian thriller following a young woman thrust into a world of old money and deadly secrets.

Andrea Londo plays Elena, a young woman trying to get a job as a live-in nanny to a wealthy widower played by Warren Christie. Samiri is playing Jasper, the shy, sad child still grappling with the death of his mother, who begins to open up to his new nanny. The cast also includes Kelly Bishop, Amy Acker, Jon Ecker, Lex Lumpkin, and Aliyah Royale.

“It’s a wonderful script with a truly wonderful cast!” the B&B kid star declared when the news finally was revealed. “Thank you to all the people who helped make this opportunity a reality and for everyone who supports me on this journey. It is not taken for granted!”

It sounds intriguing, so keep checking back at SoapsInDepth.com as more information is released, such as an actual title, and when it will premiere on Freeform! Can’t wait to see it!
