Get ready to celebrate as THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL airs its 9,000th episode this week on Tuesday, April 18! It will be a very special stand-alone show celebrating what matters most in life, love, and family.
B&B was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell and aired its very first episode on March 23, 1987. Created as a sister soap to the Bell’s fellow CBS sudser THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, multiple characters have crossed over between the two shows over the years.
As the soap celebrates its 36th anniversary this year, there are still two cast members who have been around since that very first episode nearly four decades ago — John McCook (Eric) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke).
CBS released a special promo celebrating the milestone declaring that 9,000 episodes is a whole lot of fashion, fantasy, and fire. The video is full of clips of your favorite couples like Brooke and Ridge, Liam and Hope, and Steffy and Finn, all set to the very catchy song “Ayayayay” by Anders Kampe and Henrik Wikström.
