THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL Airs ‘Escape to Monte Carlo’ Week
With THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL on a production hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, the soap is about to run out of episodes. And while it has broadcast some “Flashback Fridays” recently, the network has announced its plans for the future beginning with a very special week focused on episodes shot on location in Monte Carlo!
Beginning with the Monday, April 27, episode, B&B will air a special week titled “Escape to Monte Carlo.” In addition to featuring episodes shot on location in the Mediterranean paradise, CBS will also be airing two documentary-style making-of episodes on Monday, April 27, and Tuesday, April 28. These will contain rare behind-the-scenes footage of the cast and crew shooting on location in Monte Carlo. And to kick things off a little early, the Friday, April 24, B&B will air the Forrester/Spectra fashion face-off shot in the gorgeous country.
“It’s incredibly fun to offer fans an opportunity to look back at such memorable moments from Y&R and B&B,” said Amy Reisenbach, Executive Vice President, Current Programs, CBS Entertainment in a statement. “Both of these shows have extraordinary legacies, and these specially curated episodes are only a small portion of what we hope to be able to present in the coming weeks.”
