B&B’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Explains Why She Had an Impromptu Wedding (EXCLUSIVE)
Since Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) has participated in enough showy weddings on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, when it came to her own nuptials to hubby Elan Ruspoli, she didn’t need to go the traditional route. The actress wasn’t inclined to plan a grand event last year, especially once she found out she was pregnant with their son, Rise. “We went to Italy for the summer, and it was perfect timing because our friends and family were also traveling,” she explained to Soaps In Depth. “We ended up meeting them on a yacht, and one of my friends who was there officiates weddings, so we said, ‘Okay, let’s do this.’”
It proved to be a very impromptu, casual and laid-back event off the coast of Sardinia, which seems perfectly fitting for a woman as effortlessly glam as the actress. “We later filed all our paperwork back in the U.S.,” said Wood. “It ended up being just perfect.”
