Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Pranks Her B&B Co-Stars — Watch the Hilarious Video!
As she awaits the impending birth baby #2, it seems as if Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) has entered the pranking phase of her pregnancy! The actress — who is due to deliver her second child with husband Elon Ruspoli any day now — posted a hilarious video on her Instagram where she plays a practical joke on her unsuspecting B&B co-stars. But what made the trick even funnier is that Wood couldn’t keep a straight face while trying to pull off the hoax!
Wood’s prank was actually the “I’m Busy” challenge — the latest TikTok trend where celebrities FaceTime their famous friends, but as soon as the other person connects, the caller quickly says, “I’m busy, I have to call you back.” Naturally, this leads to confusion on the other end of the video chat, as the recipient of the FaceTime call wonders why the other person called them in the first place!
In Wood’s case, as she FaceTimed Scott Clifton (Liam), Matt Atkinson (Thomas), Annika Noelle (Hope), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Don Diamont (Bill), Tanner Novlan (Finn) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge), she could barely keep a straight face long enough to get out her line!
“To what do I owe the honor of a FaceTime?” said a surprised Diamont, her first victim. When Wood replied that she was too busy to talk to him, he furrowed his brow in confusion and asked, “What are you talking about?” Next, Noelle thought her pal was calling with exciting news to share. “Did you have your baby yet?” she asked, before picking up on the fact that Wood was doing the trending TikTok challenge.
Perhaps the best reaction of all is from Lang, who thought she’d somehow accidentally been the caller. “Didn’t you FaceTime me?” asked Lang. “No, you FaceTimed me. Can I call you back?” replied Wood, as her co-star grew increasingly confused. “I FaceTimed you?”
Finally, Wood called Clifton — who was with Diamont. “You just confused the [bleep] out of us,” said Clifton. When Wood started giggling while saying her line, the actor caught on that the call wasn’t legit. “Wait, is this a dare?” he wondered. In almost every instance, Wood was struggling to keep a straight face as she pranked her pals, even confessing once or twice, “I can’t do this!”
The hilarity continued in the comments of Wood’s post, where her “victims” were good sports about being on the receiving end of her prank. Well, maybe except for Novlan, who vowed revenge! “Oh, ok… it’s on,” he wrote. “Just remember you started it.”
