James Corden and Lil Nas X Guest on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL!
A couple of very famous faces are about to pay a visit to Il Giardino! James Corden and Lil Nas X will be guest-starring on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL in an episode scheduled to air on Wednesday, April 19!
The rapper joined the talk show host in an episode of Carpool Karaoke where the pair sang along to some of Lil Nas X’s hits before Corden asked him about his desire to be an actor. When Montero (Lil Nas X’s real name) admitted he’d love to but hasn’t done any acting yet, the host offered to help him out. “Have you ever seen THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL?” he asked the musician.
Montero admitted he’d heard of B&B, so Corden joked that he should tell them that he has seen it because he’s about to be on it! The pair entered the CBS studio and went right onto the set where B&B stars Sean Kanan (Deacon) and Annika Noelle (Hope) were already sitting at a table getting instruction from director Cynthia Popp.
She informed Montero that he would be playing a waiter and handed him a script before telling Corden that he doesn’t get one because he has no lines since he’s just going to be in the background playing a busboy. The pair then got into costume and explored the B&B sets, including a prison before reporting to work. As Popp gave Montero and Corden their direction for the scene, the duo got some background about the storyline and quickly joked about how complicated the plot with Deacon, Sheila, and Bill is.
You can watch the entire Carpool Karaoke segment in the video below, including the taping where Montero can’t stop cracking up as Kanan and Noelle try to get their dialogue out. And don’t forget to tune in on Wednesday, April 19, to see the musician and host make their daytime debut!
