B&B’s Katrina Bowden Brings Color to Christmas!

Tags:

As boldly sung by Andy Williams, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. But for THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Katrina Bowden (Flo), this Christmas will be the most colorful time of the year, since that’s the title of her first-ever holiday movie, airing on Hallmark Channel on Friday, Dec. 9!

“Jingle, jingle!” the excited actress shared on Instagram, promoting the premiere of The Most Colorful Time of the Year. “This is my first time shooting a Christmas movie and it was everything I hoped it would be. I hope you love it!”

In the movie, Bowden plays Dr. Michelle Stevens, an optometrist, opposite regular Hallmark leading man Christopher Russell as Ryan Tanner, her daughter Bailey’s science teacher. While Bailey and her fellow classmates call Mr. Tanner a “Bah Humbug,” they don’t know that he’s really trying to keep a secret from everyone around him that he is colorblind. One day, Michelle is at the school conducting eye exams for the students and staff in the gymnasium and picks up on Ryan’s lack of interest in color — which is surprising considering how festively decorated the building is for the holiday season.

After she’s done tending to the children, Michelle urges a reluctant Ryan to have an eye exam and humorously tricks him into confirming her suspicion that he is colorblind. Through a pair of specialty glasses, Michelle introduces Ryan to a beautiful world of color and adventures — and perhaps even a new love.

The Most Colorful Time of the Year will premiere at 8 p.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 9, but you can watch a preview of the heartfelt movie below right now!
