Sean Kanan Opens up About Deacon and Taylor on B&B

Some viewers enjoyed the banter between Deacon and Taylor on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and were disappointed when it didn’t actually lead anywhere. And Deacon’s portrayer, Sean Kanan, admitted that he enjoyed working opposite Krista Allen (Taylor) and would love to see more of that in the future.

“Deacon never had much of a relationship with Taylor but she came to Il Giardino and they started talking and laughing,” Kanan recalled to Soap Opera Digest. “Then he goes by her office and surprises her and in an unexpected turn of events, Deacon starts acting as her therapist. Of course, his rates are cheaper!

“But there was something fun in these scenes and I started doing my approximation of what I thought Sigmund Freud might talk like,” he continued. “So I did that silly thing and was making her laugh and they discovered an unlikely connection.”

Unfortunately, while the two characters did display some terrific chemistry, Deacon found himself caught up in Sheila’s schemes and Taylor wound up trapped in yet another go-round of the eternal Brooke/Ridge/Taylor love triangle. And while Kanan would love to share more scenes with Allen, he considered that their pairing wouldn’t even have to be romantic in nature.

“It would be nice if that’s reconsidered,” he said of the relationship. “There are so many ways that could open up, too. Romantically, that would be nice, but it would be interesting if they started having sessions and what we could learn about Deacon’s past. It could be stuff that even he doesn’t know about.”

Well, we’ll all just have to stay tuned to B&B to see what the future holds! But in the meantime, share your opinion of the possible pairing in our online poll below!
