Tanner Novlan and Kayla Ewell Welcome a Beautiful Baby Boy!
Their son arrived earlier than expected, but THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Tanner Novlan (Finn) and Kayla Ewell (ex-Caitlin) are now the parents of two! The couple — whose daughter, Poppy Marie, will turn 3 next month — welcomed a beautiful baby boy named Jones Douglas last week.
The birth announcement was made by mom and dad on their respective Instagram accounts as Ewell and Novlan both shared the same sweet photo of them holding their preemie son’s tiny hand. “Our lil man couldn’t wait to join us!” wrote Novlan in his post. “He came June 6, seven weeks early, 3 lbs. 9 oz.”
Despite Jones being premature, the little guy (and his mom!) are doing well, reports dad. “He’s happy and healthy. Mom is doing great, too,” added the B&B star, who also shared his gratitude for the medical team who attended his wife and son. “Thank you to Dr. Waldman, Dr. Valenton, and the entire NICU nursing staff at Cedars-Sinai [Medical Center] for being so amazing.”
Meanwhile, in her post, Ewell echoed her husband’s statement regarding Jones’ early appearance in their lives. “He couldn’t wait to join us,” she shared. “We’re still processing all of this, but he and I are both healthy and we couldn’t be more excited to have him here with us.”
After sharing the news of their newborn’s birth, the Novlans were flooded with well-wishes from dad’s B&B coworkers. “Been praying for you all,” wrote Ashley Jones (Bridget), along with a heart emoji. “Welcome to the world little one!” Added Krista Allen (Taylor): “Congratulations Mom and Pop! Welcome to the world Jones!”
Novlan and Ewell tied the knot in September 2015 after dating for five years and welcomed their daughter four years later. The couple announced back in February that they were expecting their second child.
