THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL Is Preempted Today

Unfortunately, as the hearings into the attack on the Capitol Building continue, so does the news coverage and thus the interruptions to regular daytime programming. And the latest hearing has preempted THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL on July 12.

Thankfully, as with the previous recent preemptions for the hearings, this is a national preemption, which means that Tuesday’s episode of B&B will simply air on Wednesday. There is no reason to go looking for it this evening on CBS.com or Paramount+ because it won’t be there since it didn’t actually air.

Soap fans should be used to their favorite shows being interrupted and preempted for news, but that still doesn’t make it any easier when it does happen. But at least those living in the areas where B&B wasn’t on don’t have to worry about staying caught up on all the drama by seeking out the episode online. However, if B&B does air in your particular time zone, don’t be confused if you get a blast from the past. CBS always airs an encore episode to fill the time slot just in case.

So make sure you tune in on Wednesday, July 13, to watch the drama pick up right where it left off on Monday.
