Taylor’s return to Los Angeles restarted the dusty old Brooke/Ridge/Taylor love triangle once more, and before things get any more out of hand, she’s decided to put a stop to it. “Ridge is married to Brooke,” Taylor reminds her daughter. “The fact that I love him doesn’t change that.”

Despite calling Ridge “the great love of my life,” Taylor has opted to go to Aspen to clear her head and get away from him and all the drama he brings into her life. Under the pretense of checking out Bill’s property in the area, Steffy has accompanied her mother to offer her support. “I don’t want him to be with me because Brooke let him down again,” Taylor admits, tears in her eyes. “I want him to choose me because I am his first choice.”

Unfortunately, after hearing proof that Brooke was the one who called Child Protective Services on Thomas, Ridge may have had enough of his wife. Because he’s now in Aspen and approaches a startled Taylor outside the house. But is Ridge really choosing to be with Taylor because he truly loves her or is he once again on the rebound from Brooke?
