THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL Teaser: Ridge Holds Eric’s Life in His Hands!

Eric’s life hangs in the balance this week on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. But when the possibility arises to save him, will Ridge agree to take the risk?

After Eric collapsed at his party, he was rushed to the hospital where his family continues to sit vigil. With Brooke standing at his side, Ridge looks down at his father in his hospital bed with a machine breathing for him. “This isn’t right,” he sighs. “Dad wouldn’t want this.” 

However, while Eric and everyone else has been led to believe that his diagnosis is terminal, Finn reveals that there is a slim chance that his life could be saved. “It’s an experimental procedure,” the doctor admits, “and there are numerous risks involved.” But he insists that it’s worth it. “I believe that this could make a change in Eric.”

Donna is overcome with emotion as she begins to feel hope for the first time in ages, but Ridge questions whether it’s truly worth it. “But I don’t want you using my dad as some kind of human experiment,” he argues. “I don’t want him to suffer.” 

Donna can’t believe what she’s hearing. “What are you just gonna stand there and play God and dictate whether your father lives or dies?” she cries in disbelief. But Ridge stands firm. “I want him to leave this Earth,” he declares, “with some dignity.”
