What’s Going on With Bill and Sheila on B&B? — Don Diamont Speaks Out!

Tags:

The Forresters and Spencers weren’t the only ones shocked when Bill and Sheila declared their love on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL — fans were taken aback and wondered if any of this was real or if it could possibly just be a very, very bad dream!

And despite everyone’s attempts to get Bill to see sense, he has continued to defend his new relationship. “Sheila is professing her love,” Don Diamont (Bill) explained in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. “And it’s not that he doesn’t recognize what she is capable of. He thinks that he can control it, and that her love for him is genuine, and he is unencumbered by the restrictions that other women have tried to put on him.

“So I think he feels that now he can play to his worst tendencies,” the actor continued. “And he feels that whatever he does, he will not be judged by her and he can’t hurt her. If this is his worst self, she’s okay with that. It’s almost heroic because he’s like, ‘I don’t want to hurt anybody anymore so I’m just going to move in this direction and protect everyone from myself.’ That’s his thinking.”

Donning his sword necklace once more was the first indication that Bill was turning to the dark side, but no one expected things to get so dark that he would hook up with the villainous Sheila Carter! And while no one can quite believe that this is real (including the viewers!), Bill’s feelings for Sheila do appear to be genuine.

“Yes, Bill is prepared to move forward in the relationship,” Diamont declared. “And what everybody’s opinions are be damned. This is the love he feels he deserves, or that he is worthy of, and with this kind of person, and he’s embracing it.”
