Why Kimberlin Brown Was Back at THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL
Some fans of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL got very, very excited when Kimberlin Brown posted some pics to Instagram from her trip to CBS Television City, and more specifically, the soap where she once played Sheila! “I had a wonderful time yesterday,” the actress captioned a shot of her vehicle pass for April 30 when she was headed for AE Room Stage 31.
Unfortunately, Brown was not on the B&B set to reprise the role of her infamous daytime villainess. Instead, a rep for the soap explained that she was there to participate in an international press event. “A great day taping for an upcoming special,” Brown captioned a picture of her sitting in a chair in front of a green screen all lit and camera ready. “More information to follow,” she added.
Brown debuted as nurse Sheila Carter back on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS in 1990 before crossing over to B&B in 1992 to continue her reign of terror in Los Angeles. In 1993, she was nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actress Daytime Emmy Award. Brown continued to swap back and forth between the sister soaps over the years, making her last appearance on B&B in 2018.
The last viewers saw of Sheila, she had failed to worm her way back into the Forrester mansion and had been working at local restaurant Il Giardino. So for all anyone knows, she’s still lurking around plotting her next move and perhaps Brown’s next trip to the B&B studio will be to bring the popular character back to the screen!
