Will Bill Split up Katie and Carter on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL?

Katie and Carter have a sweet romance blossoming on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, but there’s a large obstacle to their happiness looming, and it’s shaped like a giant Dollar Bill! Katie kissing her ex after learning he’d only faked being in love with Sheila showed that there’s still a spark between the pair and he’s never given up hope of winning her back.

“Bill does have a certain sense of possession with Katie,” Heather Tom (Katie) admitted to Soap Opera Digest, “and I think Donald [Diamont, Bill] would agree with this — even when he’s not in a relationship with Katie, he feels like she is his. Which is very messed up.”

“Bill is always the elephant in the room,” Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) added. “No matter what, Bill is a conflict. I did love it when Carter stood up to Bill and didn’t bat an eye. I’m always curious to see what happens when enough pressure is applied.”

And if Bill is bound and determined to win back “his Katie,” the guy has a secret weapon in his pocket he could use to devastating effect in breaking up Katie’s new romance: Their son, Will.

“I would love for them to bring Will back so we’ll just throw that out there,” Tom declared. “That could be a potential source of conflict. It would be interesting to see how he and Carter would get along and to see if Will’s a chip off the old block. I think that would be very fun to play.”

Saint-Victor agrees that any roadblock in the way of Katie and Carter’s happiness would make for a juicy storyline. Especially a Carter/Katie/Bill triangle. “I would love for there to be a situation down the line somewhere where Katie is being sought after and she’s in the middle and she has to choose,” he mused. “I think that’s interesting.”
