A Backstage Peek at the Y&R Fan Event!
If you were unable to attend the awesome THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS fan event held on August 5 in Burbank, CA, Lauralee Bell (Christine) has a special treat for you — a behind-the-scenes look at some of the fun that went down that special day!
“It was great to see people come from near and far, all over the world!” Bell enthused. “Obviously most of our viewers couldn’t be there, so here is a little behind the scenes. And know that you were there in our hearts because it takes each and every one of you to have gotten us here!”
Set to the classic “Celebration” by Kook & The Gang, Bell’s latest backstage Y&R video kicks off with a stroll past all the tables where the actors were sitting waiting to greet their fans for pictures and autographs. Then, with all of the fans seated at their tables in the ballroom, the actress got them all to do the wave as she panned over the crowd! “Loved that the fans were on board when I asked them to do a spontaneous wave!” Bell said. “Hope they can spot themselves in the video as I panned across the room!”
There are also multiple photos from the event included, plus shots of some of the fans indicating how far they traveled to meet their favorite Y&R stars! Some came from as far away as Australia, Israel, and Italy! “When I heard how many countries were being represented by fans flying in for this event, I decided the lyrics ‘Everyone around the world, come on’ from the iconic party song ‘Celebration’ by Kool & The Gang were a perfect fit.”
And while it may seem that Bell included a lot in her short video, she apologized for anyone she may have inadvertently left out. “If I didn’t get you in the video, I’m so sorry,” the actress wrote. “There was such limited time! Signing programs and taking pictures came first!”
