Camryn Grimes Requests Help For Her Sister’s Battle With Cancer
Please join us in sending love and support to the Grimes family as THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Camryn Grimes has revealed that her younger sister, Payton, has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. “Last Friday, my little sister, Payton, was rushed to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for a then-unknown medical condition,” the actress shared on Twitter. “Lots of tests, scans, and ultrasounds later, we got the devastating diagnosis of Lymphoma. We have a long, hard road ahead, and no one more so than Payton.”
The Y&R star and her brother have put together a GoFundMe that launched on March 26. “Please donate if you can,” she urged. “If not, repost, retweet, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and get this as far and wide as humanly possible. My sister ad my family will forever be in your debt. I will forever be in your debt. I love you guys and thank you so much in advance.”
At this early stage, the specifics of Payton’s cancer diagnosis are still forthcoming, but what is known is that she has a mass in her chest that has been diagnosed as Lymphoma. Payton’s parents have been with her 24/7 at the hospital, but due to COVID restrictions, they are currently the only visitors allowed. While insurance will help, there is a lot it won’t cover, and the expenses will be great. In the event that the GoFundMe earns more than necessary, excess funds will be going towards Payton’s college fund and donations to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
