Y&R’s Christian LeBlanc Spent Christmas in the Hospital

Please join us in wishing THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Christian LeBlanc (Michael) a very speedy recovery! The day after Christmas, the actor shared to Instagram a photo of himself in the hospital laying on a gurney in the hallway and holding up a bandaged hand. “Run down by a reindeer,” he joked.

While LeBlanc didn’t explain exactly what happened to himself at Christmas that landed him in the hospital, judging by the bandage on his right hand, it looks like he broke his finger at the very least. On the plus side, the actor assures fans he’s already on the mend. “No worries!” he declared. “I am home and doing well.”

And in fact, whatever happened to him didn’t dampen his holiday spirit at all! “Actually, one of the most amazing Christmases I’ve ever had,” LeBlanc revealed. “What a gift. Lillie and Doris and Theresa and Anita and Olivier, and especially Karen and all the health care workers, nurses, residents, doctors, security guards, gurney pushers, dieticians, the people who smile at strangers… everyone everywhere who are fighting the good fight every day but especially during this holiday season.

“What a blessing to be around those who in a very real way have dedicated their lives to healing the world!” he added. “Thank you, thank you, thank you… God bless us, everyone!”

Naturally, the comments on LeBlanc’s Instagram post filled up with get well wishes and love from friends and fans, including some of his Y&R co-stars! “OMG!” exclaimed TV wife Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren). “Calling you now!” And Lauralee Bell (Christine) urged Bregman to text her as soon as she spoke with LeBlanc, she also added: “Oh no! Thank you to everyone who took care of Christian! Wishing you a speedy recovery!”

With the soaps on hiatus for the holiday, LeBlanc should have plenty of time to heal from his injuries before having to go back to work. So hopefully, Y&R won’t have to write in getting run over by a reindeer into Michael’s storyline! Get well soon!
