Donny Boaz Shares His Exciting New Role on ALL AMERICAN!

Fans who miss seeing Donny Boaz as Chance on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS can look forward to seeing him in primetime very soon! “It’s a beautiful sun-shiny day in California,” the actor declared on Instagram. “Happy to say I booked a few episodes on the hit CW show ALL AMERICAN. Not to be confused with the greatest football movie of the last decade, My All American.” (Boaz played Bill Bradley in that 2015 film.)

ALL AMERICAN is a drama series inspired by the life of professional football player Spencer Paysinger centered around a high school student from South L.A. recruited to play for Beverly Hills High. Premiering in 2018, ALL AMERICAN is currently in its third season and has already been renewed for a fourth. Daniel Ezra stars as Spencer James, and soap alum Taye Diggs (Sugar, GUIDING LIGHT) plays Beverly Hills High football coach Billy Baker. Unfortunately, there’s no information yet as to what role Boaz will be playing on the series.

“Yes, sissy Loni, Taye Diggs is just as handsome in person,” Boaz assured his sister. Boaz also shared a selfie with actress Dina Meyer, who plays Gwen Adams, mother of Beverly Hills High football player Asher Adams. “Working with Dina Meyer today,” he reported. “I had a crush on her in Starship Troopers! #smallworld”

Boaz took over the role of Chance Chancellor back in November 2019, and after being written off the Y&R canvas in February 2021, the actor landed multiple new roles in various projects. His IMDb page is full of films that have been completed, like Flip Turn, and others, like Power Play, that are currently listed as being in post-production. Boaz didn’t mention which episodes of ALL AMERICAN he would be appearing in, so there’s no way of knowing when they will be airing, but keep checking back at SoapsInDepth.com and we’ll be sure to share any updates!
