Elizabeth Hendrickson Celebrates a Big Anniversary at Y&R!

Please join us in wishing a very happy anniversary to Elizabeth Hendrickson, who is celebrating 14 years as Chloe on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! “I can’t believe it’s been 14 years since I’ve been playing Chloe on Y&R,” the actress marveled on Instagram, sharing some pics from over the years. “The years have flown by but that is only because of all the incredible people I’ve worked with on- and off-screen.

“The better part of my adult years have been spent at Y&R and I’m so honored to have been a part of this incredible show for so many years,” Hendrickson continued. “A big thank you to all of the fans that have loved and or loved to hate Chloe and embrace all of her quirks, missteps, and milestones like I have over the years.”

Fans and friends quickly filled the comments with non-stop love and congratulations for the amazing accomplishment. “Happy anniversary, love!” cheered castmate Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea). “We’re so lucky to work with you, play with you, laugh with you, learn from you, ‘fight’ with you, and attempt to murder each others’ loved ones. Here’s to 14 more!” Hendrickson laughed at the part about murdering each others’ loved ones and added: “I love you and have the best time working with you, Miss.”

Hendrickson made her daytime debut back in 2001 as Frankie Stone on ALL MY CHILDREN, a character originally meant to be introduced and killed off within a few months, but the passionate fan reaction to the Frankie and Bianca pairing inspired the soap to bring the actress back as Frankie’s twin sister, Maggie. After exiting AMC in 2005, Hendrickson joined Y&R in 2008 as Chloe Mitchell, a pot-stirring fashionista who was soon revealed to be Esther Valentine’s daughter, Kate. While coming and going from Y&R, Hendrickson also popped over to ABC sudser GENERAL HOSPITAL to play Margaux Dawson from 2018-19.

Over the years on Y&R, Hendrickson has racked up four Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress, and in 2009 also received a nomination for Outstanding New Approaches for the streaming web series IMAGINARY BITCHES. After 14 years of tremendous performances on Y&R, we join Egan in calling for 14 more! Congrats!
