Y&R Star Lauralee Bell and Husband Scott Martin Renew Their Vows
Please join us in congratulating THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Lauralee Bell (Christine), who celebrated her marriage to husband Scott Martin over the weekend! Although their actual 25th wedding anniversary won’t arrive until October this year, the happy couple took the opportunity to celebrate their love with family and friends with a special party held on what looks to be a luxurious yacht!
“So grateful for this special night while we were away when we read the letters we wrote for each other nearly 25 years ago” Bell shared on Instagram with some group photos as well as brief clips of her and Martin reading to each other. Unfortunately, the beautiful words they shared will remain private as the actress overlaid music over the video.
“Back then we had close friends read them at our wedding,” she explained, “but this time around it was amazing having our kids and our little group there as we finally read them to each other.” She finished up with hashtags admitting it was “sort of like renewing our vows.”
Bell and Martin tied the knot back on Oct 4., 1997, and have two children together. Their son, Christian, turned 21 back in January of this year, and their daughter Samantha is 19.
Naturally, Bell’s friends and fans filled the comments of her Instagram post with love and congratulations, including some of her Y&R castmates. “Love that!” cheered Eileen Davidson (Ashley). Some, like Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael), shared simple heart emojis, and Beth Maitland (Traci) exclaimed: “Best wishes as you continue on your life adventures. Much love!”
If a pseudo-vow renewal is an impromptu way for Bell and Martin to celebrate 25 years of wedded bliss, we can’t wait to see what they do when their actual anniversary comes around in October!
