Lauralee Bell Takes Over Lifetime Movie Network on Y&R’s Anniversary!
As part of the celebrations of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ 50th anniversary, daytime star Lauralee Bell (Christine) is taking over both the Lifetime Movie Network and their Instagram on Sunday, March 26, which is the exact date on which the soap premiered five decades ago!Â
“Super excited because I found out Lifetime Movie Network, in honor of Y&R’s 50th anniversary will be playing five of my Lifetime movies I’ve done!” the actress enthused on Instagram. “Set your DVR (it starts with Mistress Hunter)!
Actually, Bell was slightly off with the schedule, as the movie marathon actually kicks off at 2 p.m. ET with Nightmare Tenant. In that film, Bell plays Dr. Carol Allen, an empty-nester who unwittingly takes in her daughter’s obsessed former schoolmate who is determined to destroy her life.
Next up is Mistress Hunter at 4 p.m. ET, where Bell stars as Jackie, a woman who is fighting for custody of her daughter after her husband had an affair, and hires a “mistress hunter” to split up him and the other woman. But when the pair turn up dead, Jackie becomes the prime suspect!
At 6 p.m. ET, LMN will be airing Their Killer Affair, which stars fellow daytime actors Melissa Archer (Natalie, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) and Brandon Beemer (Shawn, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) in the story of a detective who suspects a dating app is connected to the murders happening in her town. Bell plays Sarah Bergson in the thriller.
At 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET are the final two films in the takeover marathon, V.C. Andrews’ Ruby and Pearl in the Mist, where Bell stars as Daphne Dumas, the evil stepmother to Ruby and her twin sister in the adaptation of the popular novels.
