Nikki Fights for Her Life on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!
The shocks just keep coming on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! As Claire’s Aunt Jordan has been introduced, more and more details of their nefarious plan are coming to light. As the devious pair set their sights on other Newmans, Nikki remains captive in the bedroom, and worse still, the recovering alcoholic finds herself having been given alcohol!
“The decision to compromise Nikki’s sobriety shows that someone has not only done their homework but that this takedown of Nikki is quite personal,” Y&R executive producer/headwriter Josh Griffith told Soap Opera Digest. “While Drunk Nikki is entertaining for the audience, Thanks to Melody Thomas Scott’s amazing portrayal, this chapter of the story finds Nikki in a very different place.”
With alcohol already in Nikki’s system, that bottle of vodka that Claire left for her is awfully tempting. But can she fight the urge to drink again? Because Nikki will need every ounce of her strength in order to fight back against her captors and escape!
“In a very fragile state, Nikki tries to figure out why Claire is doing this to her and forced her off the wagon,” Griffith previewed. “As she’s pushed over the edge, Nikki is experiencing shame and despair.”
