Victor is naturally protective of his daughter, but after some initial misgivings, he seems to have given the union his blessing. Paying off Ashland’s blackmailer for him was a heck of a wedding present! “I will allow no one or nothing to ruin my daughter’s big day,” he vows to Ashland.
The bride-to-be has the usual wedding day jitters but they’re being made worse by her ex-husband, who she fears is determined to destroy her chance at happiness with Ashland. “My one concern right now is Billy,” Victoria confides to Nikki. “He seems very determined to derail the ceremony.”
Thankfully, Victoria is not alone in this and does have her defenders. Adam, for one, was pleasantly surprised to receive an invite to his sister’s nuptials and so is more than happy to step up and protect her. “Victoria made her choice,” he reminds Billy. “She’s marrying Ashland.” But Billy is not giving up without a fight. “Well, it’s not over until she says ‘I do,’” he insists.
