THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Preview: Claire Goes Free!

Trouble is brewing this week on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! First, Audra has a warning for Ashley (though she should probably be the one worrying), then Nate is stunned when Mamie reveals her true intentions, and finally, Claire agrees to Victor’s plan and prepares to re-enter society!

Audra only agreed to go back to Tucker when he finally gave up on Ashley, but she’s still very much a part of his life. So Audra decides to take matters into her own hands and warns the blonde to keep her distance. “Are you threatening me?” Ashley asks, not giving an inch. With a smirk, Audra replies: “It’s a friendly warning. I have much more experience at fighting dirty than you and I enjoy it much more than I should.” Oh, Audra has no idea who she’s tangling with!

Devon didn’t react well when Billy relayed Jill’s request that the company be re-named Abbott-Chancellor-Winters, and obviously, Mamie isn’t on board with the idea, either. In fact, it’s not just the Abbott name that she wants to get rid of! “Jill Abbott has had a stranglehold on Chancellor-Winters for far too long,” Mamie tells a stunned Nate. “It’s time our family takes full control of our company. And I’m here to make sure that’s what happens.”

Victor wants to use Claire as bait to lure Jordan into a trap so they can stop her reign of terror once and for all, but in order to ensure that happens, the young woman needs to be out of the hospital. “It’s time to be where my family needs me to be,” Claire declares with a confident smile. “And that means helping catch Jordan any way I can.” Michael responds: “Great. Go.” Claire grins and adds: “Full speed ahead.” But could letting Claire go free so soon be a terrible mistake?
