Phyllis goes before the judge in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers but will she pay the price for her crimes? Or might she still have an ace up her sleeve?
Bad enough that Phyllis went along with Jeremy Stark’s plan to frame Diane for her “murder,” but when she had second thoughts about abandoning her children, he turned on her and she was forced to kill him in self-defense! After being persuaded to turn herself in, it’s now time for the redhead to go before the judge and face her fate.
“I took a man’s life,” Phyllis laments to the judge. “And I can’t take it back.” However, Christine is determined to prosecute this case to the fullest and ensure that her rival doesn’t weasel her way out of the charges. “Laws have been broken,” the attorney insists, “and we cannot forget that.”
As she pleads her case with Heather defending her, Phyllis turns on the waterworks. “I’m begging you for mercy,” she cries. “Please!” But will her tears have any effect on the judge’s ruling? Or might having Carson’s false testimony on her behalf be what ultimately keeps Phyllis out of jail?
Meanwhile, Phyllis’ children discuss her situation and given what Phyllis’ actions have done to her own life, Summer would like to see her punished. “She’s gotta pay the price for what she’s done,” Summer declares. And as Phyllis tells someone on the phone, “Everything is about to change.” Truer words have never been spoken!
