THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Spoilers: Sally Grieves Her Tragic Loss
Hearts break in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers. As the Abbotts are called to an unexpected family gathering, Nick and Sharon pray that Chance can save Faith’s life. And Adam breaks the awful news to Sally that they lost their baby.
In the Jabot offices, Jack, Billy, and Ashley all get alerts on their phones. “It’s from Traci, calling a family meeting,” Billy notes. “No excuses. You get the same thing?” Looking at her phone, Ashley responds, “Yeah. What happened?” Why has Traci summoned the Abbott family together?
Down in the sewer, Sharon was able to free herself from Cameron’s clutches as Chance arrived to arrest the psycho. Unfortunately, he strapped bombs to Faith, so they’re not out of the woods yet! “Well, before we take this off,” Chance declares, examining the devices, “the explosives are going to have to be carefully deactivated. One by one.” Fearing for their daughter’s life, Sharon and Nick stand nearby, helpless. “And you can do that,” Nick asks the cop. “Right?”
As soon as Sally regained consciousness in the hospital, her first thoughts were of her unborn child. “There was a complication,” Adam informs her gently. Sally’s eyes fill with tears as she processes the tragedy. “Are you telling me that our little girl… she’s not here?” she asks. Adam chokes out: “She didn’t make it. And I’m so sorry.”
Things take a turn as Sally grows emotional and lashes out. “Do you need a doctor?” Adam asks. But she turns her grief into anger and directs it straight at the man who chose to save her life over their baby’s. “No!” she shouts. “I want her! I want her, Adam. But you let her die.” As Sally crumbles into tears, she sobs: “You’re the reason that she’s dead!”
Check out these teases for the emotional week of Y&R to come.
