Changes are coming in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers! Adam is given his new job at Newman, Mamie pays another visit to the Abbotts, Adam opens his heart to Sally, and Danny comes back at the perfect time!
Adam declared his intention to work his way up from the bottom at Newman in an effort to please his father. But when Victor summons everyone to his office for an announcement, that could change! “Well, the gang is all here, so… what’s the big mystery?” Adam wonders. Sitting at his desk, Victor folds his hands and looks up at his son. “From now on,” he announces, “you will be Nate’s assistant.”
Mamie paid a quick visit to attend the anniversary gala but now she’s back in Genoa City for more important business. “I’m glad that we’ve had this time together,” she admits to Jack and Traci, “but truth be told, this reunion is not really the only reason why I’m in town.” Traci’s eyes widen with curiosity. “Oh no?” she asks. Mamie smiles and reveals: “There is a… matter of some importance that’s brought me here.”
Adam sits down with Sally to clear the air after the kiss they shared. “I hate that I put you in that awkward position,” he confesses. “But I would be lying if I said I was sorry that I kissed you. I can’t stop thinking about it.” However, Sally reminds him: “I am with Nick. What is it that you want?” Adam decides to lay it all on the line. “I want you to come to me and say, ‘I may love Nick but I’m still in love with you,’” he offers. But what is Sally’s heart really telling her?
Phyllis’ life is a mess and despite her best efforts, she can’t quite seem to put it back together. As she drowns her sorrows at the bar, a familiar voice notes: “You look like you just lost your best friend.” Phyllis turns and is surprised to see Danny standing in front of her. Could he be just the person to help her turn things around?
