Victoria is looking forward to becoming Ashland’s wife, but sometimes it seems that they are the only ones happy about their impending union. “I had a run-in with Billy,” she confesses to her husband-to-be in Society. “It just seems that no matter what I say, he’s bound and determined to find something damning in your past.” But is there anything there for Billy to find?
After the harrowing birth of her baby boy, Abby happily brings the infant home from the hospital. “Welcome, Dominic,” she smiles at the tiny bundle of joy in her arms, “to you your new home and family.” The Chancellor living room is decorated to welcome the child and Victor, Ashley, Nina, and Devon are all delighted to celebrate his birth. However, Mariah still seems to be struggling with giving up the baby she’d carried for Abby as the surrogate bristles in the background.
Phyllis has been eager to help protect Jack from Sally and is happy that he seems to finally be free of the feisty redhead. “I don’t know who you were hoping she would turn out to be,” she remarks. But Jack is in a serious mood as he looks up at his ex. “You want an honest answer?” he asks, his voice thick with emotion. “I guess I was hoping she would turn into you.” It’s clear Jack still has feelings for Phyllis, but will he act on them?
