THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Preview: Lily Gets a Shock!
Brace yourself for some twists and turns this week on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! Lily comes home to an unpleasant surprise, Phyllis makes a move on another man, Claire gets to know Nikki, and Jordan holds Victor and Michael at gunpoint! This could get ugly!
At long last, Lily comes home, but she’s unaware of everything that’s happened while she’s been with Mattie at school. And it looks like Daniel wasn’t aware this was when she was coming back! Because as Lily lets herself in the front door carrying a bag of groceries, she sees Daniel, Heather, and Lucy all enjoying breakfast together at the table! Awkward!
Since she wasn’t able to lure Danny back into her arms, it now looks like Phyllis is moving on to Nick! “It’s just difficult trying to be the person that my kids want me to be,” she confides, tears in her eyes. “And at the end of the day, I just feel alone.” Nick is then taken aback when she leans in to kiss him! How will he respond?
Safe under guard at the ranch, Claire wants to get to know her grandmother, but Nikki isn’t really in the mood. “I’m afraid I’m just not up for telling stories tonight,” she sighs, leaning back into the couch. Claire leans in and asks, “Not even the legendary story of how Nikki Reed met Victor Newman?”
Michael has accompanied Victor to the alley where he is to meet with Jordan, but he’s not happy about it. “Don’t make me a liar to my wife,” the attorney orders. “No heroics, no surprises. I promised Lauren I’d be home in a couple of hours, safe and sound.” Victor pats Michael on the shoulder and assures him, “Lauren has nothing to worry about. Okay?” But it’s at that moment Jordan enters the alley with a gun drawn! Victor maintains his cool but Michael looks understandably nervous. Has Jordan fallen into Victor’s trap… or is it the other way around?
