THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Preview: Summer Makes a Move!
Looks like Summer is ready to take a chance this week on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! Plus, Danny warns Daniel he’s on a slippery slope and Victor promises to support Nikki as she struggles with her addiction.
Summer has been developing feelings for Chance for quite some time now, but she’s always demurred because he’s in a relationship with Sharon. However, now she decides to test the waters and figure out just how serious that relationship is! “I am wondering,” she asks Sharon in Crimson Lights. “Are you? In love with Chance?”
Daniel was happily reconnecting with Lily when Heather came back into his life, so he was relatively oblivious to the fact that she clearly still loved him. But that kiss on New Year’s Eve could change everything! Even Danny can see that Daniel is in a difficult position. “You’ve got your daughter playing matchmaker,” he notes. “And the way that you and Heather are looking at each other?” This could be a recipe for disaster!
Realizing that Nikki never got back on the wagon after her ordeal with Jordan, Victor is concerned for his wife, but determined to help her through this difficult time. As the couple sit on the couch together, he holds her close in his arms and assures her that he will be by her side as she battles the bottle once more. “I didn’t walk out on you then,” he reminds her, “and I will not now. You’re the love of my life.”
