The stars of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS put on their dancing shoes to share their gratitude with fans as the venerable soap approaches its 50th anniversary! Star Lauralee Bell (Christine) posed the question to the cast and crew of Y&R: “Would you dance for the fans?” And the answer was a resounding yes!

“After your loyalty and support for all these years, the least we could do to say thank you is to show our best moves!” Bell shared on Instagram along with the video she shot and edited herself. “We are kicking off a big week! Lots of celebrating and wanted you to feel part of the party!” The actress also noted that it was because of their loyal fans that Y&R made it to their 50th anniversary, and emphasized that with the hashtag “#thereisnouswithoutyou.”

Set to “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” the video shows the cast and crew of Y&R bursting into spontaneous dance moves and shaking their groove things. Kate Linder (Esther) shows off some tap moves, Christian LeBlanc (Michael) switches partners from Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) to Mishael Morgan (Amanda) with one smooth move, and Cait Fairbanks (Tessa), Mark Grossman (Adam), and Camryn Grimes (Mariah) give a little disco!

The video also features some of the stars who returned to help Y&R celebrate its golden anniversary, including Michael Damian (Danny) dancing with Tricia Cast (Nina) and his TV sister Patty Weaver (Gina) as well as Barbara Crampton (Leanna) showing off some moves at the entrance of the Genoa City Athletic Club with Sharon Case (Sharon)!

Leading up to the big anniversary, the cast of Y&R has already opened a time capsule that was buried on the soap’s 25th anniversary and the stars have been sharing some of their most memorable moments from Genoa City’s epic history. And the celebrations just keep coming!
