The Y&R Reunion Fans Have Been Waiting For!

Actress Lauralee Bell (Christine) gave THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS FANS a very special treat when she used social media to share a reunion that she enjoyed with best friends and castmates Tricia Cast (Nina) and Doug Davidson (Paul)! “Best lunch ever!” she exclaimed on Instagram. “After a year and a half, the gang is reunited!”

In the first video, Bell is sitting at an outdoor table at a restaurant in California and muses: “So I’m here having a little lunch with my friends. Um, what are you having?” She then pans the camera to her right as Cast lowers the menu covering her face and responds: “Hm… I don’t know. What is he having?” She looks off to her right and Bell turns her phone further to show their other lunch date. Davidson grins and holds up a glass of chilled white wine as he declares: “I’m having what you’re having!” and all three laugh happily.

Bell and Cast have shared scenes on Y&R in recent months, but Davidson hasn’t appeared on screen since late 2020. However, all three of them have been friends since they worked steadily together in Genoa City over the decades. And now that COVID restrictions are lifting and people are getting vaccinated, old friends can finally see each other safely without fear of contracting the virus.

In fact, as Bell’s second clip shows the trio did more than just enjoy a delicious meal and drinks together! “Oh wait,” she posted. “More fun was had!” And as you can see, the pals took advantage of a nearby park and enjoyed a swing set to bring out their giggling inner children!

While fans would no doubt enjoy seeing Paul join Christine and Nina on Y&R, at least we can all enjoy knowing that they’re enjoying each other’s company off-camera in real life!
