Tricia Cast Returns to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS

Please join us in welcoming back Nina Webster! Tricia Cast is returning to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS to reprise her classic role in time to help the soap celebrate the airing of its 12,000th episode! According to Entertainment Weekly, Cast is expected to first return in Early November before popping back in the week of Nov. 30 for the anniversary show. “Some good news in 2020,” enthused Lauralee Bell (Christine) on Twitter. “Couldn’t be more excited that Tricia is back as Nina on Y&R!”

Cast first appeared on Y&R back in June 1986 and during her time on the soap, won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in 1992. While she exited in 2001, she returned in 2008 and began making recurring appearances, most prominently during the revelation that Ronan Malloy was her son and when Chance faked his death. The last time that Nina was in Genoa City was in 2014 when she attended Katherine’s remembrance party.

It’s likely that Nina will have a lot of catching up to do with her best girlfriend Christine, and she’ll probably also be very interested to see what her son, Chance, has been up to lately.
