It won’t be in Genoa City, but fans of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS alum Victoria Rowell (ex-Dru) will be able to see her on TV again very soon as she has just joined the cast of GOOD SAM! She will be making her first appearance in the episode airing on Wednesday, March 2.

The CBS medical drama that airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET centers around Sofia Bush’s character of Sam, a talented heart surgeon who must take on a leadership role at the hospital when her boss falls into a coma. Deadline is reporting that Rowell will be playing the recurring role of Tina Kingsley, a sophisticated hospital chairwoman who is willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Tina is the mother of series regular Malcolm Kingsley, played by Edwin Hodge.

Rowell shared the news on social media along with a backstage selfie she snapped with Hodge and Evan Parke, who plays Byron Kingsley on the series.

Rowell became a fan-favorite when she joined the cast of Y&R as Drucilla Winters back in 1990. During her time on the CBS soap, the actress earned three Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress and took home 11 NAACP Image Awards. She also created, directs, and stars in THE RICH AND THE RUTHLESS, a soap that can currently be seen on BET+.

So make sure you tune in to watch Rowell in her exciting new role!
